Dr. Bethany Hankinson graduated from Life University Magna Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She is excited for her career change and to make a change in your health and wellness. Dr. Bethany has a bachelor’s degree in health and nutrition and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She maintains her registered nursing license as well. Dr. Bethany was a pediatric intensive care nurse both in Detroit Michigan, her home town. She relocated to Georgia in 2014 to be a pediatric and neonatal critical care transport nurse on the ambulance on the flight team for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
After marrying her husband in 2019 she worked in the emergency room at Macon Coliseum ER during the first wave of Covid. During that time Dr. Bethany decided she wanted to change the way she helped others by going back to school to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Bethany is married to a professional athlete who needs constant chiropractic to maintain his level of performance. She has a teenage stepson, a teenage daughter, an 11 year old son and another son who is under 1.
Dr. Bethany dedicated her schooling to various chiropractic techniques to fit various patient’s needs from young to old. She uses gentle manual manipulation, is activator certified which is a gentle, heavily researched and effective adjustment that is gentle enough for babies, osteoporosis, and effective even on professional athletes. She is also certified in Webster technique which is a gentle chiropractic adjustment for pregnant women. This adjustment helps provide the healthiest environment for her growing baby. Dr. Bethany will tailor your care based on your needs and her ability to use multiple techniques to help you reach your body’s highest function and wellness.
